Summer Reading at Kirby Muxloe Library!

Summer Reading at Kirby Muxloe Library!
Calling all children aged 4 -12 years.
As in previous years we are inviting you to join the Summer Reading Challenge for FREE at Kirby Muxloe Library! The Challenge runs from Saturday July 3rd to Saturday 4th September.

This year pack your bags and get ready for a trip to Wilderville to join our Wild World Heroes Carys, Marcus, Faiza, David, Willow and Callum.
Their town is a great place but help them make it even better for the people and animals there particularly by making a difference to the environment.

To be a Wild World Hero you need to get reading! This is easy. Just register at the library and receive your starter kit. Then borrow books to read at home. You can read anything you like – stories, fact books, graphic novels, poetry or listen to audio books. You can borrow books from your local library throughout the summer and we recommend reading at least six books to complete your challenge. Every time you finish a book, collect a sticker (some are smelly!) to put on your poster. On completing the challenge you receive a certificate and medal!
If you take part in the Challenge you are also entitled to free admission to Bosworth Battlefield and 1620s House and Garden at Donington-le-Heath just by showing your special Wide World Hero poster.

Get rewards for your reading!
